The Bloody Flux of 1775, Looking at the Little Picture
The summer of 1775 was a sad time in many Massachusetts towns when they experienced an epidemic of dysentery known as the Bloody Flux. As historians, we spend a lot of time looking at the big picture of how we got from Lexington to Yorktown. This will look at the little one and how it would have effected communities.
