Upcoming History Camp Outings

Boston Public Library

May 18 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 am EDT

Boston Public Library

On May 18, 2024, History Camp will host a private tour of the Boston Public Library by Library guide and History Camp enthusiast Elisabeth Piquet. The Library, designed by the distinguished architects McKim, Mead and White in 1888, contains a multitude of artistic and architectural treasures, including sculptures by Daniel Chester French, sculptural seals by Augustus Saint-Gaudens, and murals by John Singer Sargent.

After the tour, join us for discussion and snacks/lunch (at your own expense) in the Library’s Newsfeed Café.

The tour will last for approximately 2 hours.

Address: 700 Boylston Street, Boston, MA

Note: If you are using public transportation, use the Copley station on the Green Line or the Back Bay station on the Orange Line or commuter rail.

History Camp and History Camp Monthly Outings are a project of the non-profit organization The Pursuit of History. We hope you’ll join us in the pursuit of history.
