Gamifying History: Roleplaying the Revolution

The New Hampshire Historical Society has been very successful using a roleplaying format to guide students through New Hampshire’s role in the American Revolution. This model can be used by schools, clubs, organizations, museums, and public history sites, as well as in education at home.

In this session you will experience the beginning of revolution in New Hampshire by playing a character involved in one of the earliest acts of insurrection against the King. Will you support the king’s sheriff or will you side with the patriots? You choose!
