Bannack State Park Ghost Town — Historic Site Tour
Bannack State Park is a ghost town where exploration and imagination are part of the Bannack Experience. Bannack was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1961. Bannack’s history is related to a number a nationally significant themes including the gold rush, Native American relations, national expansion and law and order. One of the stories I think Bannack represents best is the evolution of a community from the gold rush to industrial gold mining. Bannack is a unique historic site that everyone should experience.
