Take a private tour of Hale Farm, which was originally the home of John Hale, first minister and a key figure in the Salem Witch Trials. The house, owned by the family until 1937, reflects the evolution of Beverly from farming community to summer vacation spot for the affluent.

Following the tour, Assoc. Director for Collections Abby Battis will take us through Historic Beverly’s collection of objects and documents that illustrate Beverly’s history over four centuries.

This tour can accommodate a maximum of 15 people.

When

March 17 at 10 a.m. and lasting about two hours.  Afterward some of us may head to a nearby restaurant for lunch.  Note that March 17 is St. Patrick’s Day.
