History Camp Outings are exclusive tours just for our History Camp Virginia group.
February 22, 2020 – Agecroft Hall & Gardens
Tour of the historic house, followed by a special seminar, led by Executive Director, Anne Kenny-Urban. The seminar, A Nun’s Tale: Was She or Wasn’t She, will include a look at a selection of land deeds that tell the story of a family dispute over an inheritance and a nun’s deception. Agecroft Hall has deeds in their collection dating back as early as the late 14th century.
This seminar has never been offered to the public before and will give you the chance to see the deeds up close.
The tour and seminar will last 1 ½ hours but you’ll want to plan in some extra time to explore the Sunroom exhibit, gardens, and gift shop on your own.
