This presentation will cover the history of World War II fighter pilot Major Richard I. Bong, his famous P-38 “Marge,” and the recent expedition by Pacific Wrecks to find and identify the crash site in Papua New Guinea.
Justin Taylan is the founder and director of Pacific Wrecks a not-for-profit charity finds Missing In Action (MIA), shares information on past conflicts and advocates for the preservation of remaining sites. Taylan has personally documented over 1,000 crash sites across the Asia-Pacific region.
