Andrews, Professor of History at University of Colorado, Boulder, on his award-winning book, Killing for Coal: America’s Deadliest Labor War, which discusses the Ludlow Massacre in southern Colorado and the following “Great Coalfield War” which resulted in dozens of deaths, two destroyed company towns, and six destroyed mines.
