      Don Cygan is a Colorado-based author and historian. Cygan worked for several years as a daily newspaper reporter and also free-lanced for several Denver-area publications. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Northern Colorado and has a Masters in Communication from Denver University and a Masters in Military History from Norwich University. He served in the U.S. Army and Colorado Army National Guard during Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm.Currently, Cygan is a professor of history at Red Rocks Community College in Lakewood, Colorado. He lives in Evergreen, Colorado. No Silent Night: The Christmas Battle for Bastogne (Penguin Group) is his first book.
