POSTPONED – April 18: New England Historic Genealogical Society

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, we have had to postpone our April 18 visit to the New England Historic Genealogical Society. We will update the new date when we are able to do so. Thank you for your understanding.

American Ancestors and New England Historic Genealogical Society (NEHGS) is America’s founding genealogical organization. Established in 1845, they are the nation’s leading resource for family history research and the largest Society of its kind in the world. They provide expert family history services through knowledgeable staff, original scholarship, a data-rich website, educational opportunities, and an eight-story library and archives to help family historians of all levels explore their past and understand their families’ unique place in history.

Join us for a special tour of the American Ancestors research center, including a behind-the-scenes look at the conservation lab and highlights of NEHGS’s art collection, and learn about the millions of resources available to genealogists and historians alike.

Saturday, April 18 at 10:00am. The length of the tour is between 45-60 minutes.

99-101 Newbury St, Boston, MA 02116

Registration is required and spots are limited.

We are adding a $5 registration fee. History Camp, both the annual History Camp Boston and our behind-the-scenes monthly tours, are put on by The Pursuit of History, a non-profit organization formed in 2019 to enable us to expand what we do in Boston and to add other cities. This year we are adding a nominal fee to all events to help support History Camp.
